Med Flight was called for, but could not respond due to the weather.  Marshall Medical Ambulances transported the men to Huntsville.

According to officials, the accident happened in open water near a main channel navigation buoy west of the river bridge around 12:15pm.  The cause of the accident is still under investigation, but officials speculate that the two drivers just didn’t see each other.  All three boaters were ejected from the vessels.
